Canadian and Chinese institutions explore new opportunities in digital agriculture education and global talent development.

Shaws Education is proud to support the growing collaboration between Olds College of Agriculture & Technology and Southwest University (SWU) as representatives from both institutions recently met in Chongqing, China, to explore new opportunities in digital agriculture education, academic exchange, and international talent development.
The visit represents another important milestone in strengthening educational partnerships between Canada and China, bringing together two institutions with complementary strengths in applied agricultural education, research, and innovation.
Strengthening International Academic Collaboration
The delegation from Olds College, led by Kay Lim, International Affairs Officer, met with representatives from Southwest University’s Office of International Cooperation and Exchange, the College of Horticulture and Landscape Architecture, the College of Animal Science and Technology, and the College of Smart Agriculture.
During the discussions, both institutions exchanged ideas on future collaboration in several key areas, including:
